It is my first time using one of the Garmin training programs. I was supposed to do at tempo run for 3mi at race pace, but it was only week 2 of the training program and I haven't been running enough to reach that pace yet. While I was running, I noticed it stopped me after only 1mi and sent me to cool down. I couldn't find an explanation anywhere and I didn't push any buttons while running. Did it stop this tempo run short because I couldn't reach the goal pace? Also it's seems odd that only 2 weeks in as a non-runner starting a training program that my 4th run is almost the full distance I plan to run at the end of training (5k).
