I am running into the same issue that others have posted about the 'incorrect password' message appearing in the Connect mobile app when trying to connect to my home internet connection.
I have browsed other threads and tried a range of options, but have been unable to resolve this issue.
Things I have tried are:
- Rebooting my modem
- Changing my WiFi password on my modem, and enter the same password in the Connect app
- Removing my WiFi network from my phone and re-adding it
- Updating my firmware using the Garmin Express application (I can connect to my WiFi within Garmin Express though)
- Check connection setting on modem (SSID is not hidden, changed security from WPA2 PSK to WPA+WPA2 PSK and back again)
Midway through typing this message, I remembered reading a thread about someone setting up a new SSID on their modem, setting it to broadcast, and connecting to that. I have two guest WiFi networks (2.4G and 5G) built into my modem, so I connected to the 2.4G network, and tried connecting to that using the Connect app - this worked somehow!
So, if you aren't having much luck, post here and I can try and help you out the best I can.
