Software Update 8.00

Most Garmin devices received a "Time Zone Map" update.

Still no news? 

Can anyone confirm the new update does not have any serious bugs?

It's a mystery to me. The update downloaded to the watch, but it never actually installed. Weird!

My watch (4s) has been unusable since the latest update a couple of weeks ago. It's draining battery and lasting half a day, keeps crashing, unresponsive, and today gave me a blank black screen when I tried to save a swim. None of the sensors are working, some software versions are showing 0.00. It also stuck in a "GPS update available" download-install loop yesterday. This absolutely nuked my watch

After some digging around, it seems like my 4s didn't actually complete the software update, and is still showing 7.80. I tried to manually look for the 8.00 update but it responded "No updates available". So it may have crashed during the update and not installed properly? I've sent Garmin Support an email so if I get any more information I'll post it on here!

same here, draining battery in 4 hours.   tried to reset, remove apps, did a factory reset.  It is now worse.  the heart rate and pulse ox sensor doesn't work.  

My GPS is not working. GPS SW version become 0 after update into version 8. How to downgrade?
