This seems to be an oldy but one on reviewing the blog with no clear resolution factor to it. I have a Garmin Descent Mk2i which hasn't left my wrist in over 2 years ... Love it, but i bought my wife a vivoactive 4s a little under 12 months ago. A software update to the watch about 10 days ago has seen a world of hurt for the wife and I need to know if there is anything that I can do to remediate this issue as soon as possible. The WHR and senors have gone... Nothing flashing and if you check the sensor information in the watch it states the sensor version is 0.0 and the WHR version is 0.00.00 BMX 0.0.0(!) Where have the sensor drivers for the watch gone. I have done a reset, followed what limited advice that has been provided by Garmin, and the only remediation is my wife gets a refurbished watch for something that technically is still under warranty. Need the communities help with this please. (Garmin please dont send me to another thread as I have scoured this site for information on how to fix this. Hope to get some clear advice as soon as possible.
