Hello everyone,
I have a vivoactive 4 that I also use for jogging. In order to train more precisely and effectively based on the heart rate, I would like to buy a chest strap.
The first thing that came to mind was the HRM-dual, because it is also a Garmin product. But if you do a little research, you can of course not avoid the Polar H10.
But what about the compatibility of the H10 and my vivoactive 4? Does it work without problems? Or is the HRM-dual the better solution because it is in-house and
therefore more compatible? Are there any limitations or restrictions I will have to deal with when buying the H10 because it's not a Garmin device? Do I need an
additional app from Polar or can everything still be made via Garmin Connect? Is there any other data, statistics or anything like that that I get with the HRM-dual
which is not provided with the H10?
It's actually enough for me if the vivoactive shows the heart rate of the belt while I'm jogging (and no longer the heart rate measured on the wrist) and all sorts of
data, evaluations and statistics about the run via Garmin Connect after the run. Is this the case with both chest straps? Or do I have to make compromises somewhere with
the H10 compared to the HRM-dual?
Thank you in advance :)
