Vivoactive 4 crashing/powering off.

I have a Vivoactive 4 that crashes or just powers off randomly. At times it won't even last 24 hours after charging, but when I do put it back on charge it is still showing a healthy battery life which today was 74%. It has powered off during activities, when I have tried to save an activity and also when I wasn't even doing any activity. I've only had the watch a little over 2 years so would not expect this sort of behaviour. I have already tried a reset which makes no difference in the slightest.

I'm also seeing crashes on my Vivoactive 4 recently. It seems to be triggered by trying to use radios other than bluetooth: Trying to add wifi networks causes the device to reboot and recover. Trying to start a GPS activity puts the device into a crash loop that only recovers when I plug in the charger. I deleted data and reset settings on my watch and it still happens.

i have the same issue. when the watch tries to find wifi it crashes all the time

Exact same issue here. Bums me out. I really like this watch. It works fine and tracks my treadmill runs. It dies immediately when I try to start an outdoor run. Same thing when I try to track skiing. In both situations it will connect to a satellite and let me know it's connected but as soon as I hit the button toe start the activity it dies. It also dies when I try to connect to wifi.

I am suffering with the same problem with my Vivoavtive 4, obviously an issue they can't resolve. I have seen previous comments regarding this and Garmin not admitting there is a problem, lost faith in them and won't buy again, same as lots of others!

Same issues, but seemingly worse? Software Version 7.90 Beta. My Vivoactive 4 crashes daily during normal use. I'm usually required to power cycle twice and then charge re-charge the watch. Battery appears to drain rapidly during the ol' daily software meltdown.... What to do?

Same issue here.

Garmin doesn’t admit the problem and last time suggested to pay160€ to get a new vivoactive 4.

This is insane. Why should I pay almost the same value for a watch that is outline now?

why they don’t fix this bug?
