Watch randomly powers off

In the last two months my vivoactive 4 randomly turns itself off even though there’s more than enough power. Any ideas? Love the watch but it’s so annoying

      This happend to me about 10 times now, starting a few days ago.

      If I charge it to 100% the issues goes away, but if the charge is less than 70-80% it randomly shuts down, however I cant really tell if thats accurate. Just what I notticed.

      Very often - particularly when tracking a workout/event, trying to connect to wifi, or when the watch is below 50% battery

    • How many times has this occurred? - severel times a day
    • What country do you reside in - Singapore

    • How many times has this occurred? - everytime when battery goes to 50%

    I noticed that after the firmware update, the watch shuts down when it reaches 50%. Attempting to restart the watch fails and I need to change it.

    I have the same issue with my device randomly shutting down. Most notably when I start or finish an activity. Battery state does not make a difference.

    4. I have factory reset and removed all additional apps

    5. Has become gradually worse over perhaps last 2 months, I now struggle to keep watch powered up at all.

    • Switching off every day at 50% Battery and also randomly, when starting new activities
    • Switching off when activity saving, sometimes even above 50% battery  
    • Seeing this consistent feedback on forums, leads me to thinking that this looks like built-in obselesence, forcing everyone to replace after a period of use and built-up dependency.

    This is happening to me on daily bases..:/

    If I charge it to 100% the issues goes away, but if the charge is less than 60-70% it randomly shuts down. Always when I want to start any activity or payment.
