I am working on the 5k plan with coach Jeff, but I see that there are hill workouts coming up, where I have to run up 40-200 meters.
Here comes the problem: I live in the Netherlands. There's no hills. I have a dike that's about 8 meters high near me and if I cycle for about 20 km I have a hill that's 40 meters high. That's it!
So I am wondering what a good alternative is to the hill workouts. If it is even relevant because in no 5k that I'll encounter will be any hills anyway. But I like the idea behind the challenge and I don't want to make those work-outs to easy and lose progression. That kinda defeats the purpose of the whole training.
