is there a footpod for the garmin vivoactive 4 s

hello,

I have a garmin vivoactive 4s watch and when I run on a treadmill it always gives to much when I run and when I walk it says I don't move at all. So I looked on the internet and did find that it is connectable with some footpods but the one I saw are no longer available (garmin footpod, suntoo footpod).

So my question: is there a footpod that I can buy to use with my watch and that is accurate on a treadmill and outdoor.

Thanks for the sugestions. If I am correct the polar stride sensor doesn't work wkth an android phone but I will look for the others.

Another question. If I buy one from the ones you said does the collected data synchronise with the garmin connect work out or is it always in a different app?

The footpod is connected to the vivo4
System > sensors > search sensors (footpod)

Android has no use.

The vivoactive 4 / 4s also supports bluetooth sensors

You can also use Polar for zwift sessions.
Polar is the best replacement for the old Garmin SDM4 sensor (no longer in production).

This is the same hardware as the discontinued garmin sdm4. Not so long ago I managed to obtain a handful of those, very cheap, and they work perfectly.

Thanks but i see it says iphone only i think because of the plug so i can't use it

That footpod communicates over ANT+. An iphone doesn't have ANT+ connectivity, hence the adapter that is plugged into an iphone. If you connect the footpod to your watch directly, then you won't need the adapter and you can throw it away. The vivoactive supports ANT+ natively, so no adapter is needed.
