Heart Rate

I work out at the gym. actual Heart Rate hovering around 130 to 155 then 10min walk home HR about 60 to 70 bpm. The Garmin shows a rate of 105 to 115 at the gym, and 155 to 160 walking home! This is ridiculous, to think I switched from Fitbit for this. Hey Garmin, do your job and fix this.

  • You must read these indications to improve the reliability of the heart rate reader:

  • Thx. I do all the fitting cleaning etc. however I do not reset every week (which sounds like a "work around" fix for a serious device problem,). I previously had a Fitbit, and my partner has a $30 sports watch (from Aldi!). Both keep a reasonable HR data without all the considerations Garmin use.as justification for their wildly inaccurate HR issues. Looking at all the reports, and my experience, there is a serious unresolved HR issue with this watch, and they are not fixed by the suggestions offered. The HR is so wildly unreliable it is virtually useless. P
