VO2 max displaying differently on watch and app

My VO2 max is displaying as 39 on my Vivoactive 4 and 25 on my Garmin Connect app. The app is recently synced with my watch, but it's displaying the date as Tuesday July 20th, with no data for four weeks, twelve weeks or six months. I suspect the app for some reason isn't getting updated VO2 max data from my watch and last updated its data last year July. How can I force it to update and reflect the same as my watch?
