Is it still worth it buying this watch or too old a model?

Retailing between $229-$299 in Australia, is it still worth it to get this watch? Is the HR accurate? It has an elevate 3 sensor. To get a watch with newer sensor, version 4, the next most affordable would be the Venu Sq 2 which i can get for around $340. Is the price difference worth it - will the newer sensor mean more accurate readings?

Too expensive. If you can get it much cheaper it might be OK to buy it since it is a an OK watch, but support for it is lacking and there are newer watches which probably offer more bang for the buck.

I agree with Vizi. But everything depends on yours preferences. If you want sport watch with smart functions. Or you expect more smart functions with sport activities. I am satisfied. I bought this watches last year, about 7 - 9 month ago. For 250 €.

I just picked up one for my wife. On sale, for $129 USD. So even with the crappy software updates without quality testing, the watch itself is pretty good for the activities we use. But yes, the HR, Sleeping, etc, are never going to get better on this model and that's a shame.
