I updated to 7.80 about a month ago. It'll usually acquire satellites fairly quick, but since then, the GPS accuracy has been way off. It'll have me walking 10-11 minute miles, which just isn't possible. Looking at the GPS track on a map, when walking up a road following the exact same path, the GPS track varies wildly all over the place, zig zagging back and forth.
When compared to other GPS's (an iPhone 13 and a GPS Map 62) the Vivoactive 4S track will be sometimes longer, and sometimes shorter since the firmware update. Looking at tracks made before the update, there was none of the weird variability (zig zagging all over the place). And the times per mile seemed to be consistent and believable.
I've rebooted the watch a couple times but it hasn't helped.
I'm wondering if I should go back to Polar.
How about a new firmware update to fix this?
