I bought my Vivoactive 4 this December 2022. After my initial setup, the latest software version, 7.80, was installed, and I am using it since Day 1. Suddenly, today morning, the touch screen did not respond. I have tried all possible solutions, and it didn't help.
When I connect my device to Garmin express on my PC, it says software updates found and pushes it to watch. When I disconnect my watch, the software update installs, and the success message says, 'Touch screen software is updated'. But still, there is no luck. If I connect my watch to Garmin express again, the same download and install process runs. Every time it says 'Touch screen software is updated'.
Finally, I downloaded the zip file of version 7.20 and side-loaded it using the PC. The touch screen started working. But after 15-20 mins, it stopped working again.
Is anyone else facing this issue? Can this be fixed?
