I am on week 2 of 11 of my 25:00 5k plan with Greg Mcmillan and I have only gotten easy runs and steady state runs so far and I am looking ahead and only having the same in week 3 is this normal or a glitch

Same here all 25 easy minute runs including 10 mins of warm up and cool down. I accepted it at first after researching low HR running etc but I am starting to think something is wrong. I can see the rest of the week is the same. 5 WU, 10 run, 5 optional, 5 CD. Long run is 5WU 15 Run 5 CD ??? That's 4 weeks?

Yeah I ended up doing it the other day. did the baseline and immediately got a 65 min long run as my first run.
Just annoyed I spent 3 weeks doing 25 mins easy runs 3-4 times a week.
Garmin you should care and fix this ASAP as using a coach is often the fist thing a newbie runner such as myself will do is grab a coach. You are hurting your brand and possibly turning new users away.
At least you got some decent base miles in
Just think of it this way: you spend 3 week or about 10 x 25min - 250min running. It's a heck of a lot better than sitting on the couch. There is still gains to be had of just easy running, so it sure isn't all wasted time.
Definitely should be fixed, but tbh I don't think they will put very much effort in our "old" watch at this point in it's life cycle.
I'm eagerly waiting for a Vivoactive 5 to be a similar watch as the 255 with the touchscreen, and maybe without mapping stuff etc. If it doesn't happen I'll probably go hunting for a good deal on a 955.
