Watch stopping after a workout, but I want to continue

Hi Everyone,

I wonder whether anyone can answer this question I have about the Vivoactive 4S.

Whenever I complete a workout, the watchbstops recording data amd GPS also stops until I resume it manually by pressing the A button.

However, I sometimes forget to press it or don't notice that the workout has stopped until too late, so a big chunk of my workout is missing when I check the stats after my run.

Is there a way for it to continue recording data even after the workout has finished without having to manually press to continue?

The only way is to edit the workout (if possible) to contain last step with target set to "Until lap button press".

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I have done that before when I have set up my own workouts, but sadly the Garmin training plan ones are not editable.
