Just like that the Vivoactive 4s does not charge at all. It had shut down and i plugged it in. No triangle on the screen, but it got very hot for some time, without ever turning on. Pushed button long time, nothing. Checked cable teeth, were good, cleaned everything with alcohol. It got hot again plugged in, nothing on the screen except from the battery sign for a short while. Got hot again then completely cold. Looks completely dead. What could be the case?
I will be very dissapointed with Garmin if the watch is done. 2 years and a half after purchase with moderate use. Full of bugs due to 3rd party apps (why should they interfere with default apps?), not tracking sleep during the day and now THIS? My first fitbit lasted for about 5 years, my faithful Mi Band 4 went back on my wrist for the time being, good as new when charged, 2 and a half years after using the Vivoactive 4S plus a couple of years more i had it before and at 1/9 of the Vivoactive 4s price...
Should i contact support? What would be the cost of fixing it? Is it fixable? Should i even try?
