Garmin admins, why don't we have an option for the user to disable FW updates?
I bought this watch and should have a say what firmware runs on it. If an update is known to be working badly for features or battery life, currently i have no choice not to install it. Why? If my watch is running a fw version which I'm happy with, why should I be forced to update?
I have a FR 945 as well, which allowed this option. Why not this watch?
Hypothetically, Garmin could make my out of warranty watch unusable by a fw update. And I would, pretty much knowingly, have to play along.
Please update your policy and add this as a feature request for the next update - which currently I have no option to not install.
