Trail run and Strava

Hello everybody,

I made a copy of the RUN (Garmin) app which is called TRAIL RUN (Garmin) hoping Strava would see it as a trail run activity ... but it doesn't.

What is the function of Trail run in Garmin Vivoactive 4? Only for different data pages?

Is there a way for Strava to recognize my activity as Trail runnning without me manually editing the activities on Strava?
