Noticed today that my step/stairs counter is not working properly. Either not counting steps at all, or adding loads all at once. Even added steps while driving. I don't remember doing the new update that everyone is talking about

You are not able to disable automatic updates - once the new firmware for your device is available, it will be pushed to the watch.

Next it will ask if you want to install the update or install it later. In case you miss this prompt (at the night for example), it will be installed automatically.

Simply verify on the watch if you have the latest version installed (v7.10, published 4 days ago).

Thank you. Will Garmin fix the problems that the update has caused? My watch was working fine up until the last few days.
