Remove Menstrual Cycle tracking for men

I have a VivoActive 4 connected to a Mac. Every day I receive a notice that Menstrual Cycle cannot be tracked because of my gender setting. How do I turn this notice off? After 48 years on this planet and three kids, I don't need a reminder that men don't menstruate.

I have seen other similar posts within this forum but no clear instructions on how to remove this notice.

  • Moved to correct forum as nothing to do with BaseCamp where you originally posted.

  • Go to the connect app. Go to settings, then notifications. Turn off menstrual cycle.

  • Nope. That's not an option in Settings. Already tried.

I'm beginning to suspect that the answer is Garmin's app sucks and I will just need to accept an irrelevant notification.

  • It is on iPhone. More / settings / notifications / push notifications / then toggle it off. I never get a notification.

  • Hi,

To remove the Menstrual Cycle Tracking, I'm thinking you may have to remove the widget from the watch.

Go to the Widgets menu in either the Garmin Connect App or the watch itself.

From the Garmin Connect App tap on the watch settings (Device) just left of your profile picture in the upper right of the screen.

    Then tap on Appearance.

    Then tap on Widgets

On this screen, you will see "Installed" and "Not Installed" widgets

Tap on the Menstrual Cycle Tracking widget and then tap on Uninstall.

Make sure you sync the device to the Garmin Connect App.

From the watch long press on the lower right button.

Scroll down to the cog wheel (Settings) and tap on that

Scroll down to the Menstrual Cycle Tracking and tap on it and remove it.

I hope that works for you!
