General Garmin

I have been a long time Garmin Supporter. Owned 4 different Garmin's over the years. The latest 2 were the Vivoactive 3 and now the 4. I after multiple replacements and problems I have decided now to change my support. My wife have been using a Samsung and she never had so much problems. My 3 has been replaced 3 times before incorrect stairs i,e, 5000 plus on a flat service. the 3rd the battery dies after 3 months. Due to the replacement it was then out of warranty. No I have the same issues with the 4. first  one could not connect to the satellites i.e. routes were 200km off course etc. 2nd one did not work at all. Now the 3rd also now out of warranty battery flat after 8 hours. Disable about everything., but still no luck. Also outside takes about an hour to find a satellite and then looses it halfway through my run. .

  • I've posted today about GPS issues, you aren't alone.

Something is going on at the moment and it's causing major issues for many people where GPS is concerned

Hope Garmin see all these threads and release a fix very soon

  • No need to be a supporter of a brand, unless you have invested a lot in infrastructure that only fits this brand. If there is a product from another brand that suits you better, go for it. Then it is up to Garmin to make something even better to win you back.

  • No but I invested money, so expect to get what I pay for and not sitting with problems.
