Dying battery

I have just bought a garmin vivoactive 4s I have only had it for 3 days but have charged it twice in those 3 days not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone help.

Check backlight setting if you have it set "bright" it will look pretty, but kill the battery quickly.

Got that on 40% don't really want to go any lower as I wing be able to see it without my glasses on its down to 32% since this morning

I recently (within the last week) had the watch update the software. I changed nothing else no other settings. The watch is dying very quickly now. I have a feeling someone goofed the software. Maybe leaving GPS on all the time or something. I'm searching the forum for where to report this. Don't lose heart. I have been very happy with this watch and used to own a fitbit ionic. I like this watch much more.

Update. After powering down and restarting the power consumption has gone back to normal. Maybe it will help you too.
