My Vivoactive 4 does not lock after using Garmin Pay?

I recently purchased a Garmin vivoactive 4 and I've noticed that after paying with Garmin Pay or when the unlocked time is over, it doesn't lock again?

Should it not reset after the 60 and ask for the Pass Code again?

if I turn the watch off it resets but I don’t want to have to do that every time I use it to pay for something.
