Vivoactive 4 laps

Hi,

I do not understand the autolap on my Vivocative 4 (FW 6.8). After a while, like 8km, I have 10 laps but everything is in km!!!!!

I should see 8 laps, not 10!!!

Looks, like 1km in autolaps is shorten than the real one.

  • So if you look at the statistics for the activity, what is the distance of each lap?

  • For instance, today, I have a run of 15.4km. When I look in the stats, I can see 17 laps.

The problem is that this run has activities. I can see that the first laps are matching the activity (5 minutes) but not the 1km.

You have 1km if the activity timelaps is over the time it took for 1km.

So, there is a mixt between activity ans laps which is wrong. If I set autolaps, I'd like to see 1km and the time and average heart rate not something else.

  • What do you mean activities? More than one? Don't you start the run activity when you start running, and stop after you are finished? There should be one activity containing several laps. The default lap distance is 1 km. You can also trigger laps manually while running, and in that case there can be more shorter laps.

  • I mean, it's a run with phase. I do not add manually a laps. So, if the phase is 5 minutes, I see it as a laps which is lesser than 1km which is wrong.

  • Is this some activity type from IQ store? I don't think I can set a target pace in the regular Garmin run app.

  • I have a training plan. In this training plan, I have run with phase. There is a mixt with the phase and the 1km laps. If the phase if 5 minutes, I see a laps but it's not 1km. So, I think its a bug.
