Bluetooth drop off when using my earbuds

The bluetooth connection between my brand new Garmin Vivoactive 4 and my Jabra 75t earbuds appeared to be good. To test the connection, I put my watch in one room and went to the other side of my house and there was no interruption to my downloaded music at all (with a gap of 40-50 feet). I was now confident in my purchase. I then went walking in my neighbourhood and the bluetooth drop off was instant and continued stuttering my music until I got clear of all houses. Once free of houses the music flow was perfect. Then a few cars passed me and the bluetooth interruption was evident once again until they passed by. Clearly there is bluetooth frequency interruption between my Garmin Vivoactive 4 and devices inside of the houses and in the passing cars. Just to be clear. my Jabra 75t earbuds work perfectly when paired with my Iphone as do a pair of Sony earbuds. Why is this happening on an expensive watch made by a reputable company like Garmin ? How can I fix this ?

  • good question. i am having similar issues with another brand of earbuds as well. those earbuds are cheap but they work great with my phone over bluetooth. when paired with the venu 2, it's extremely choppy
