Treadmill stats

I recently bought the Garmin vivoactive 4 and have been unable to see data for distance, amount of steps or speed from the treadmill app. on the watch, I have only been able to add the distance and time manually into the I connect app. on my phone.

I gave up trying to make sense of the directions Garmin gives for "calibrating" a VA4 to "work" with a treadmill, running or walking.

The only thing I see useful when I use it for treadmill is the heart rate stats. All the rest is Garmin bad logic.

I can see number of steps, distance, cadence, heart rate, pace and calories after a treadmill workout.

All of those stats stay at 0 except heart rate when on the treadmill, was there something you did with the phone or app. to display the stats.

No, it was working fine for me right out of the box.
