Vivoactive 4 - Device crashes on adding Wi-Fi network

Hello,

My device is on firmware version 6.5. I recently had to reset it. Now when I go onto add the WiFi network from Garmin Connect > Device > General > Wi-Fi > Add a network, my V4 crashes. I need to reboot it. After device hard power off, closing mobile app, etc. it’s the same behaviour.

I have tried with 2.4GHz and 5 GHz networks and my SSID is not hidden.

Please make sure that your Garmin Connect mobile app is up to date:

Installing, Updating and Uninstalling the Garmin Connect App

Next, please attempt to add the Wi-Fi network once again. If it fails, please take screenshots (if any occur with the GC mobile app) or a short video (of the watch crashing) demonstrating the error(s) and answer the following questions:

May we, if necessary, have permission to email you?
May we, if necessary, have permission to view/access your Garmin Connect account?
In what country do you live?

I will try to share video of this behaviour. Btw to your questions:

a. I’m fine if you would like to email me for the issue.

b. I’m OK with you accessing/viewing my GC account for troubleshooting

ok - but now I have issues with constant crashes. Feels like the battery, despite is showing plenty of power left.

5266772 without the permissions requested above, I'm afraid I am a bit limited in what I am able to do in this circumstance. I encourage you to reach out directly to your local Garmin Product Support team. To do this, type "support.garmin.com" in your address bar and use the Garmin Support Center to research your issue. Once you get far enough in the search, you will see (at the bottom of the page) some contact options, which may include Call, Chat, and Email.

Hi!

Is there a solution yet, because since yesterday I have the same problem…

I have reset the device and now, when I want to add a wifi via the Connect-app, the watch says “searching for wifi-connections” for about a second and then suddenly goes dark.

It won’t restart completely unless the app is no longer in the wifi-menu.

Unless I missed one there should be all current software-updates installed
