Lately, I've been getting some strange behavior on my Vivoactive 4 tracking.
I first noticed it tracking walks, where I would sometimes stop off for lunch along the way. Before, while I was stopped, it would bee a lull in the activity. There'd be a period of nothing happening, as you'd expect. But after the update, the map is showing all sorts of random tracks while stopped. I tried changing the setting to turn auto-pause on to try to avoid that, and it will randomly buzz as I'm sitting there eating as the activity pauses and unpauses randomly. The track still shows all sorts of random movement while I'm stopped.
Here's an example of the crazy tracking while stopped:
Last week, I walked into a Starbucks and it triggered the "incident detection" and sent a text to my emergency contact. I didn't realize it was triggered as I thought the buzz was the normal pause/unpause stuff it had been doing and then I got the panicked call to check on me.
Most recently, last night, it recorded a 5 minute run and 7 second walk - while I was sleeping and the Vivoactive was on the charger, not my wrist. There was also a pair of Move IQ events for cycling (35 and 11 mins), but no saved activities, during that time.
Based on the release date and looking back at my activities, it seems like this started with the 6.50 update for my Vivoactive 4. Tracks look fine Nov 7, crazy when stopped on Nov 14, 6.50 was released in between.
