Vivoactive 4 battery drain even after factory reset and NO connect IQ faces. Completely stock

Previous thread locked.

After full factory reset, NO IQ watch faces or apps, lowest level backlight, using so much power max battery life as a "dumb " watch is 92 hours = 3.8 days. Less than my 3 year old vivosport!

it's not Connect IQ, so how do I either get the battery replaced by Garmin or return the device and migrate to another platform?

I followed  instructions on a previous thread to no avail. How long are these batteries supposed to last before degrading?

  • Hello .  The batteries in our watches are non-replaceable, but if you reach out to your local Garmin Product Support team, you could inquire as to if there are replacement options.

To do this, type "support.garmin.com" in your address bar and use the Garmin Support Center to research your issue.  Once you get far enough in the search, you will see (at the bottom of the page) some contact options, which may include Call, Chat, and Email.

  • Had returned mine due to this

  • Reached out to support. It's used so no support of any kind. Can return mine though so will leave Garmin for another brand as well.

  • I see that the agent noted that you purchased the watch second hand and not from an authorized dealer.  Is that correct?  If not, let me know and I can email you so that you can provide a copy of the proof of purchase (in a reply to my email) and I'd be happy to forward that to them (your local support).
