Day on VO2 max screen not correct in App

Recently the day shown on the VO2 max has been out by one day, today I went for a run and the updated VO2 max shows yesterday. On Monday I went for a run and it showed Sunday.

The date and time on the phone (iPhone 12) and the watch are the same and the software version on Monday was 6.2 and it updated to 6.5 yesterday so it isn’t going to be fixed by updating the watch. I have rebooted the watch as well.

Has anyone else seen this? It isn’t a big deal just wondered.

  • I never see issues with updating of VO2Max so far, they seems to be aligned to my runs well and I check my VO2Max from FIT file and if I see major update there it reflects in the app and on my watch as well. But the difference is that I'm on Android and now I wonder why our VO2Max gauges are so different, please see mine and you'll see that although I'm 47 it's just the beginning of blue sector and you've 46 on the middle.  Maybe it's different for different ages and you have a better form comparing to me.
If somebody knows more I'd be curious to hear your thoughts

  • I guess it would be age - I am 56 so my VO2 max range would be different compared to someone in their 40s.

Probably you're right, it's good to know they are adjusting it for age too and it's just not a linear graph as I first thought.
