Touchscreen Unresponsive or Intermittent

After a last update to v6.50  ,my watch is shutting down ,as I thought , randomly . Finally found an event  :

First of all , the battery draining faster that on previous version .3-4 days on 6.5 version vs 5+ days on previous version. With the same amount of activities .

Second , regarding shut downs :it's happen when my watch attempts to measure PulseOx . I'll explain :

My PulseOx meter set to "Off" , but I have PulseOx widget, which can measure my PulseOx on demand.

The wrist heart rate sensor is in "Auto" mode.

The issue appear when with I'm attempting to measure PulseOx via widget or enabling PulseOx sensor in "Settings-> Wrist Heart Rate" menu (Tracking Mode is set to " During Sleep" mode) and then ,navigating  to "Health stats" and waiting to performs wrist heart rate measurements.

But , when Pulse/Ox sensor set to  " During Sleep" mode , and when I'm performing Run activity , I don't know if PusleOx is measuring something , but the "Shut Down" issue not happening.

Tried to delete applications , watch faces  , widgets , data fields . Performed full Reset , nothing helped.

Sensors software is  v13.00 .

My self Embedded SW Engineer, hope this information helps to fix the issue in upcoming updates :)

  • Got some "updates" : the watch powers off also on payment attempts.

Also, after default factory reset,   the touch screen stopped responding. Like, 1 or 2 days passed after factory reset , the touch screen worked particially(some areas did respond  some not) and 2 days after stopped respond completely :no touching, no swiping, no fast touches, no slow touches, nothing.

  • All-  If your vivoactive 4 or 4s is having touchscreen issues, I encourage you to please reach out to your local Garmin Product Support team (preferably by telephone).

To do this, type "support.garmin.com" in your address bar and use the Garmin Support Center to research your issue.  Once you get far enough in the search, you will see (at the bottom of the page) some contact options, which may include Call, Chat, and Email.
