If you are still experiencing this issue while your watch is running the main firmware version of 6.50, please check the watch's GPS version. If the GPS software shows 0.00, please confirm that, as we do have other reports of this and I can add you to that case. I will also update the thread's summary to clarify that.
If your watch shows a GPS software version of 5.40 and you are experiencing this issue, please reach out to your local Garmin Product Support team. To do this, type "support.garmin.com" in your address bar and use the Garmin Support Center to research your issue. Once you get far enough in the search, you will see some contact options, which may include Call, Chat, and Email.
If your watch shows a different GPS software other than 5.40, please update your watch with Garmin Express.
Hello!
I have the same problem with GPS on my VivoActive 4 watch.
I'm also on main firmware version 6.50 and the watch's GPS version is 0.00. The watch stuck on "Wait for GPS" and doesn't work. What should I do?
