Inadvertently triggering pulse oximetry

Hello all! I have pulse oximetry tracking correctly set to OFF. I've checked this repeatedly.

Nevertheless, many times a day, i'll raise my arm to check the time and somehow inadvertently trigger a pulse ox reading. I have to stop what I'm doing and use several button pushes to back out of the reading attempt so that I can see my watch. This happens at least four times a day. It happens whether I'm wearing the watch on the right or the left, so it's unlikely to be caused by some habitual gesture.

Is this a known problem, or is an unusual quirk of my own watch? Any advice?
