Measurement units

Until today my swimming activity was measured in meters, and running in miles.

But everything changed today I have only choice metrics or statute.

how can I change it back to keep swimming in meters and running in miles because swimming pool is 50 meters and it was very convenient .

I just don't know how it suddenly changed.

Sounds like you may need to do the following:

In your Garmin Connect mobile app, change your Unit of Measure to Statute.

Changing Account Preferences in Garmin Connect

On your vivoactive 4, change…

I have both meters and yards in the settings for the pool swim activity.

Yes you right there is meters and yard but on phone app now only meters or yards.

It's use to be storing info on app swimming in meters if was chosen 50 meters pool , but not anymore.

If I change metrics in app settings it changing for all activities and personal information

On Garmin connect website swimming shows as usual in meters but on phone app yards...

Sounds like you may need to do the following:

In your Garmin Connect mobile app, change your Unit of Measure to Statute.
- Changing Account Preferences in Garmin Connect
On your vivoactive 4, change the pool size.
- Setting the Pool Size
Sync the vivoactive 4 in the Garmin Connect mobile app (select 50 meters).
Perform your next Pool Swim activity to see if these changes saved properly.

I didn't change anything it was from the beginning like this

Metrics on app statute
Swimming pool 50 meters And was always storing my swimming in meters , not anymore. Should I perform again what you mentioned above ?

Yes, then please test a Pool Swim activity. Be sure to get photos/screenshots showing the app and watch settings before and after the swim.

I've had the same issue. My watch is set to metres for pool size and distance and seems fine. Its different for the phone app now only shows in yards which is an absolute pain!

Sarah Please follow the 4 steps in my previous comment. Be sure to get photos/screenshots showing the app and watch settings before and after the swim.

Did everything as directed,( but again it ben set like this from first day, ) nothing changed

phone set to 50 meters pool

did today 3000 meter, 3000 m showing on watch, but on app 3,281 yd .

I don't know how to add screenshots it on my desktop.

I don't understand why it's happening, like I mentioned it always been in meters on phone as on watch...

Thank you, that seems to have worked. The app is now showing in metres.

I do, however, find it strange that my setting was previously set to Statute UK and yet that showed in yards. In the UK, the standard pool measurement is metres.
