GPS FIx Problem after update

I have the exact same issue, with a Garmin Venu (same software than VA4)... 

I had a SW update today, and GPS works for me.

Maybe Restore to default values?

Please try a hard reset on your watch and then sync the watch with Garmin Connect mobile or with Garmin Express just before going outside to connect to GPS.

To perform a hard reset, press and hold the power button on your watch.  Ignore the "Power Off" question and the assistance alert (if applicable) on your watch, just continue holding the power button pressed down until the screen goes blank.  Once this occurs, you may release the button.  Allow the watch to sit powered off for a few seconds, then you may power it back on by pressing and releasing the power button.

I noticed that it took about twice as long to get a GPS lock yesterday.

I use GPS+GLONASS in the Great Lakes area of USA and was wondering if I should change to GPS+GALILEO? Or maybe the update changed something.

If the pace is now twice as accurate as it was before.... That would be great. In fact running by Pace is useless with VA4.

If you install an IQ data field like Peter's (Hi Vis) Pacer, it works quite well. Then you can easily stick quite accurately to a pre determined pace.

hello. The same thing is happening to me, I have problems with the GPS connection, even not recording the map after a running activity.

I have the same problem. I tried hard reset but it doesn't help.
