If your watch no longer has any power at all:
Please make sure your watch is not connected to the charging cable, then press and hold the power button for a full 60 seconds. Next, plug your power cable into a computer (desktop or laptop). Finally, connect your watch to that power cable. That should prompt the watch to boot up normally.
If your watch still has some power left and is turned on:
First, please make sure your watch is not connected to the charging cable. Next, we'll need to perform a hard reset of the watch. To perform a hard reset, press and hold the power button on your watch. Ignore the "Power Off" question (or controls menu) on your watch and the assistance alert screen (if that is a feature on your model of watch), just continue holding the power button pressed down until the screen goes blank. Once this occurs, you may release the button. Next, plug your power cable into a computer (desktop or laptop). Finally, connect your watch to that power cable. That should prompt the watch to boot up normally and begin charging.
If this is not successful, please contact your local Garmin Product Support Team.
Sorry but that did not work. Is there a way I can get a replacement? I don’t want to have to buy a $200 to $300 watch every 1.5 to 2 years.
