I didn't properly calibrate the distance on my first run. Now everything is very off and I can't figure out how to fix it. Is there a way to re-calibrate without having to factory reset my watch?

Hello 4538873. As long as you meet the requirements in the FAQ below, you will have an opportunity to calibrate each individual treadmill run that you perform on your watch.
The problem is that the discrepancy is massive. 8km on the treadmill is only .16 on the Garmin. There is no way I can make it to 1.5 to correct this.
4538873May I email you for some additional information so that I may investigate this further for you?
Did you ever get any answers? I have been dealing with this issue ever since I got the VA3 as well as the VA4. I have never had a successful interaction with Garmin reps that has yielded a fix on the issue.

Yes please do! The account I have on here may be different than the one I am currently using. One of the trouble shooting steps the last person had me take was setting up a new Garmin account with a different email so I used my work email. The current account is linked to a email that does not end in "@gmail.com"

Hi
Did you get any fix for this problem? My wife walk 5km but only 0,5km registered on WA4. And no calibration options to find.
Still not correct registration of distance. And 8km on treadmill not qualify for calibration. Still less than 1km registrate on the watch.
Lots of outdoor walk with gps should have calibrate the lengt of steps. But it does not seem to work.
Did you check that GPS is disabled for your treadmill activity? And how does the cadence graph look for your treadmill activity? Does the watch register the correct amount of steps? Mine is typically 120-130 when walking, and 170-180 when running.
