vivoactive 4/4s softwear update 6.20

i've downloaded new 6.20 update into my vivoactive 4. it does fixed the freezing gps, and i have to try if it works faster in open spaces... so i will come back :) it solved and fixed partially the countdown vibration! infact till version 6 the vibration countdown started at 5 second to 0, vibrating each second and making a longer vibration at finish. now it start at 3 to 0! this is not enough time to settle me into new exercise and it has a problem with HR notification because it show 10 second before and continuing till countdown of 3. Please, fix this little problem and restore countdown from 3 to 5 second.

  • Hey, how did you update your watch? I receive notifications about updates every day in the morning and it never does update my watch

  • i usually use Garmin Express by pc. i connect my watch by wire and it automatically, or manually, download and update new releases.

  • I have to use Garmin Express too as wasn't sure how long it would take to wait for the update to rollout to become available directly on the watch.

  • new issues found in this 6.20 release:

    - problem of vibration persist and it work not at countdown of 3, but 2... giving not enough time to set a new session.

    - altimeter barometric doesn't work good: at this time i'm at sea level and it sign like -4 metres.

    - whenever i do a workout pass counting doesn't work as normal.

    this is a persistent problem:

    - whenever i start a new training session, with lower button i can skip forward... but i never can skip beck (if i wrongly pressed a button)!
this is very annoing because force me to and my workout and restart a new one.
    please fix those problems.

    thanks

  • I think 4 meters deviation is well within expected range of error for GPS altitude. I doubt Garmin or anybody else can fix that. You would have to sit a long time at that altitude and find an average to get closer.
