Backlight Battery Drain

Since last software upgrade the backlight doesn’t shut off and drains the battery in < than 2 days

had the same problem, turning it of and back on solved the problem temporarily, but happened again few days after.

will see if the new 6.20 update fixed the problem.

On SW 6.20 my watch backlight gets stuck on about once to twice a day. Incredibly frustrating. Can some one from Garmin speak up as to how to fix this? The hard restart is a temp fix.

My VA4 (SW 6.20) started this behavior, backlight stuck on, about a week ago. Restarted the watch whenever I noticed it on. But battery drain was intolerable anyway. Finally turned off the gesture mode and resorted to manual backlight only. Seems to be working. Garmin, fix this!

With mine, gesture mode is off for months now, but still this behavior occurs.

Later today I found the backlight on, even with gesture disabled. Whenever I turned on the backlight manually I checked that it turned off again after timeout. So it seems that the backlight is coming on and staying on without being commanded.
