not able to connect to wifi on watch

this watch will not connect to my wifi - I had a Vivoactive 3 before this and ran into a problem with that one too.  Is there a new system update of something that is preventing wifi connection to watch?  My phone connects just fine to the wifi - it locates the router just fine - enter password and then watch spins saying "connecting to my network" but than says "no internet connection".  I use WOW internet provider.  can anyone assist?  

  • Since your Vivoactive3 also had a problem, I feel maybe your access point is the suspect. Did you try connecting to a different AP? Temporarily set up a hotspot and see if the watch can connect and exchange data?
