My vivoactive 4s is not displaying animated workouts.

I am having this same issue and opened a case with Garmin support but no answers yet. Anyone figure out a solution? Would rather not go through return process if I don't have to

Not yet. I managed to get my logs uploaded to garmin and they said there would be a 3-5 day wait as the issue has been escalated to garmin engineers

Hi, I am interested as to how things went from this point? I have just began the same process having sent my logs through today. 

Still no update from Garmin.

I called them yesterday and they told me they are awaiting feedback from the engineers.

It's frustrating because after the first week, I called them and they said the engineers had a bunch of questions all of which I had answered in the original email.

They said there is a couple of people with the same issue and it might not be a hardware issue, but a software issue related to some watches with slightly different internal hardware, although that was just speculation on the support persons part.

That is interesting and frustrating. They mentioned to me that is was happening to lots of people and they would take the logs. They mentioned a replacement but didn't seem confident that the issue would not be present in the replacement device as well. They didn't want me without a device for the time it would take to replace. 

Their quality control and software testing could clearly do with more rigor

I'm experiencing the same problem on my forerunner 745 with the workout "15-minute ab burner"

Because you have a different device that the Vivoactive 4/4s, please make your post in the Forerunner 745 forum.  You can tag Garmin-Brooks, who manages the Forerunner devices there.
