My vivoactive 4s is not displaying animated workouts.

My vivoactive 4s is not displaying animated workouts even after a factory reset and enabling video. Has anyone had this experience and able to shed any light on how to resolve?

Yep - Garmin Support had me sync with Express and that appears to have resolved the issue in my case as well.

Which workout are you using ?

I have tried on all of the pilates, cardio and strength workouts. Have contacted Garmin Australia and they are yet to respond. Any suggestions?

I am in the same boat. Vivoactive 4. Was planning on trying them out again. On a previous firmware version it was working fine.

I’ll give them a call tomorrow to see what they say.

MAybe a stupid question but have you set in workouts settings animations "on"? I had that same problem and it was just that setting...

Yes. These are the things I’ve done:

Toggled the videos setting off and on
Rebooted the watch
deleted And resynced workouts

I only reset the watch to factory defaults 2 days ago and have not installed or changed anything everything is 100% stock.

Just got off a support call with Garmin. They are going to get me to supply debug logs and whatnot. Will write back with progress.

I had animations on . Garmin has agreed to take back the watch and give me a new one

Unfortunately, I can't supply the logs as I get errors trying to copy the logs off the device.

My watch is already due to be replaced under warranty due to being plagued by battery life issues. Guessing I got a dud and should be all good once replacement it complete.
