My app is showing my steps but not the miles ? How do I get my app to show both steps and miles ?
Which Garmin do you have? Did you complete and sync any activities?

Did you log any outdoor GPS activities? As in start an activity, stop, then save and sync.
No I didn't logged any activities, as it detected my steps I thought it would also show how many miles... It just doesn't make sense it doesn't
Whatever I do yoga it's annoying too have to enter poses and stuff I don't have time to do it while in class... Or when I am climbing/ hiking... So I never look any activities

To get miles, you'll need to log an activity, such as a run, walk, or ride - vívoactive 4/4S - Outdoor Activities (garmin.com), where the activity is measured using the internal GPS.
Steps are recorded separately using the accelerometer on the watch
