watch stopped charging and drains quickly

watch just stopped charging and drained super quick

done lots of restarts and it can charge via USB then it fails again

any ideas

    Hello! Have you tried a factory reset from the settings then clean the contacts with rubbing alcohol and charge through the computer.

    Hi there. Thank you fir the suggestion. I did get it to charge via a laptop after cleaning but then it wouldn’t work a second time so I did a reset... it has now died completely Rolling eyes  It’s like having your arm cut off. It’s almost two years old. I wonder if it’s just time to renew?  My other garmins lasted much longer but I suppose these are just so full of tech they wear out! 
    but if anyone has other ideas please let me know
