Menstrual Cycle Widget not syncing on Vivoactive 4S

The menstrual cycle tracking widget does not seem to be syncing. I log symptoms on the Garmin connect app regularly, but on my Vivoactive 4S that widget says "you haven't logged in a while" and when I click on it it says "go to garmin connect to update your cycle". All other widgets seem to be syncing correctly, this is the only one that I am having a problem with.

I've read a few threads on this help forum about similar issues, but still haven't been able to resolve the problem. I've tried unpairing and repairing my watch, and removing and re-adding the widget, as suggested here, but neither of those worked for me.

  • Maybe this helps. if you fill in your symptoms on your watch you don't need to click only on the "V" sign to log symptoms (then the logging does not work), but first you need to click on the symptom itself. Then a "-" sign appears above the symptom on your watch and then you press the "V" sign to log it. Then you will also see it on your connect app.

  • I have seen this answer on multiple threads but it does not solve the issue called out in the main post. The solution here tells users to log symptoms via the watch. As a user, I cannot fill in my symptoms on the watch. As a user, I can only log by using the Garmin mobile app. I have reset, resynced my phone app and watch and the issue persists. This is a huge disappointment.
