Reconnecting after restoring my Vivoactive 4S

I just restored my Vivoactive 4s. When trying to reconnect with garming connect mobile app, the watch asks me to download the app and offers the green √ to accept, but nothing happens when I touch it so I can't get any further. My phone finds the watch, but can't connect, since the watch seems to be frozen. I have tried all the most common tricks, turned both the watch and the phone off and on, reinstalled the app, but nothing seems to work. Are there some tricks to find here?
