Vivoactive 4 and tickr HR wrist strap.

Ok... What can I possibly doing wrong.

I ride my indoor bike using a Wahoo tickr wrist HR monitor and save my data in Strava.

When exporting to Garmen connect & compare the Vivoactive HR vs Wahoo tickr I have a significant difference.

Wahoo High HR 150 bpm compared to the daily HR on my Garmen connect is only 102 bpm.

Same profile setup for both.

  • Hey, I'm not sure if you send your data from Wahoo Tickr to VA4 via ANT+ or not, if they collect your data separately then data discrepancy could be quite huge. I compared my VA4 HR readings with HRM Dual chest strap and sometimes my watch optical HR could be way off, unfortunately that's a common problem. Some akers like Apple somehow managed to have it working better than others but if you need reliable readings then you have to use something else than built-in HR monitor which is good for estimating resting HR.
