Watch showing arrow and then two vertical bars during ride.

Intermittently, the watch face vibrates and shows an arrow pointing to the right followed by two vertical bars. Quickly resets to regular cycling data screen. May happen 20 times in a twenty mile ride. Had the watch for a year and it just started doing this in the last week or so. All data seems intact at the end of the ride. Very annoying. Any ideas?

    Hello! It sounds like it could be losing connection with the phone and reconnecting. Does this only happen during a cycling activity? Any other activities? Can you sync with Garmin Express on the computer and then hold the power button for 45 seconds ignoring power off. Keep me updated if this continues.

    It only happens during outdoor cycling. I’ll try the sync with Garmin express. It recently started showing me an “incorrect password” when I plug the charger in. The battery is draining very quickly lately also. Have close to 80% battery to start the day. A one hour GPS ride and the next morning I’ve got 23% battery left. All of these issues have started in the last few weeks.

    Ok, we may need to look into some further troubleshooting. Are you using the same log in information you use for the app?
