Hi, I've had my Garmin Vivoactive 4S for about 9 days (had to charge it twice already despite not using GPS, music or all day Pulse Ox, but that's a separate issue. Battery is dropping much faster than the advertised week in smartwatch mode).
So I did a cardio workout yesterday that said I burned 400 calories. My BMR is 1360, RMR usually 15-1650ish. Every day since I've had my Garmin it has told me that my resting calories have been 1647. But yesterday, it suddenly said that my resting was 1258 (which is lower than my BMR by 100 calories!). Nothing about my normal routine had changed. I still made 10 flights of stairs plus my workout and regular everyday activities. My total calories expended says 1573, which is honestly less than I normally burn on non workout days so that makes no sense. On my Fitbits I've had in the past, a 1.5 hour cardio workout that burned 400 calories would bump my daily total up to around 2000 with my BMR around 1350 and RMR around 1500-1650
Anyone have an idea of what is going on here? Appreciate any help, thanks.
